How To Make Matcha Tea Macarons
First, the Macaron:
- Preheat the oven to 180°C
- Beat the egg whites until soft peaks form. Gradually add the sugar until stiff peaks are formed. Continue mixing until you have a fluffy, shiny mixture
- Sieve the almond flour, icing sugar and Kineta Everyday Matcha powder into the egg white mixture. Fold the mixture until fully combined
- Using a piping bag, pipe the macaron mixture into 4cm (diameter) dollops onto greaseproof paper. Allow the macarons to dry so they are no longer wet to touch
- Bake at 150°C for 15 minutes
Then the Filling
- Mix the cream cheese, icing sugar and milk until smooth
- Pipe the cream cheese filling on the macaron and sandwich together
Now, all that’s left is to pour a couple of cups of Matcha tea and enjoy.
