The addition of milk to Matcha makes it a super tasty creamy, luxurious alternative to the traditional more purist Matcha Tea. Our coconut Matcha Latte Recipe perfectly blends the matcha green tea flavour with hints of fresh coconut.

Having experimented with various alternatives to milk, this is one of our favourites by a long way! The natural sweetness of the coconut milk balances perfectly against the more umami notes of the matcha.

Coconut Matcha Latte Recipe:

  • 1 Teaspoon Matcha Powder
  • 50ml water
  • 210ml coconut milk
  • Honey to your taste

Method for Iced Matcha Latte Awesomeness:

  1. Sift Matcha into small jug
  2. Pour over cold water
  3. Blend using a milk frother
  4. Add ice to glass
  5. Pour over coconut milk
  6. Slowly pour blended matcha shot over the top
  7. Honey to finish if needed

Method to creating Hot Latte

  1. Sift Matcha into a jug
  2. Pour over 70-degree water
  3. Blend using a milk frother
  4. Pour heated coconut milk into a wide-mouth mug
  5. Slowly pour blended matcha shot over the top
  6. Honey to finish if needed

TOP TIP: If you don’t have a temperature-controlled kettle then boil the water and leave it for 5 mins before pouring.
